What is it to "Dance IN the music"? It is when a dancer becomes the visual element of music. When a dancer is IN the music, you can't look away. When IN the music, a dancer highlights various aspects of and moments in the music. Musicality is HOW to dance IN the music! When the music and the dance meld into one, it is pure joy for all involved - the musicians, the dancer, and the spectators!
I am a firm believer that a dancer is a perpetual student. My aim is to continue to expanding my knowledge and abilities while passing on what I've learned to students along the way!
Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, Merengue, Bachata, Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Theatre Dance - you name it and I want to dance it! Dance and performance has been in my life since I was a child and, with luck and health, it will be until I'm old and gray. They say that dancing will keep you young so...here's hoping!
